What We Believe

I. GOD

We believe that there is only one holy and eternal God, with the Godhead  revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

II. THE BIBLE

We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the Old and New Testaments; the inspired  and infallible Word of God.

III. MAN

We believe that God created mankind in His own image. Because of sin, salvation  and an intercessor are required for mankind to have a relationship with God.

IV. SALVATION

We believe that salvation has been provided for mankind through the redemptive  work of Jesus, and is received by repentance and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

V. BELIEF IN JESUS CHRIST

We believe the gospel accounts of the birth of Jesus, which show that He was  born of a virgin named Mary. We believe that Jesus was crucified, resurrected  and lives today in accordance with gospel accounts. We believe He will one day  return and judge all mankind, with the redeemed through Christ receiving the gift  of eternal life with our Lord, and the unrighteous sentenced to everlasting  punishment.

VII. THE CHURCH

We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church Universal. Local churches  consist of Christians voluntarily uniting for worship, nurture, and service.

VII. ORDINANCES

We believe that ordinances instituted by Christ include baptism by immersion and  the Lord's Supper. We observe the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Him as He  instructed and its observance should be open to all believers. Although baptism is  not required to receive salvation, we seek to follow the example of Jesus, who  Himself was baptized.
